Ramadan is the Holy month of fasting and therefore, filled with great blessings. It is a true sign of Allah’s wisdom that along with Eid-ul-Fitr (feast of ending the fast), Allah the Exalted allows us more opportunity to purify ourselves by way of Zakaat (Sadaqat) al-Fitr. This Zakaat (Sadaqah) at the end of Ramadan is a great blessing that serves to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood within the Ummah.
